About the Artist:
Vladimir Naikhin. Born in 1946 in Kharkov (Ukraine). Professional photographer for over 30 years. Member of the Union of Photographers of Israel (IEPAS). Participated in various photo exhibitions (Israel, USA, France, Singapore, Spain, Russia, Romania, Czech Republic). Artistic credo - to bring philosophy into picture. Adherent to the classic school of photography. Works with the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Israel Museum, Jerusalem and Bar-Ilan universities. At present, lives in Jerusalem.

Artist’s Statement:
Rhythm V represents the work of the fourth and fifth session of the six-month segment of the award winning Pre-visualization Workshops conducted by Dick Dischler at Keeble & Shuchat Photography. Dischler’s workshops prepare the participants to develop their own visual style and workflow. The photographic “truth” today is the same as in the past, preparedness and pre-visualization are key.
